One of the main reasons a Pioneer PE Camp is better than the rest is the Staff.
Our Staff are all primary school teachers and teaching assistants currently working in schools in West Sussex. This means they have a wealth of professional experience in dealing with all sorts of different children, in a huge variety of settings. It's this experience that sets us apart from other camps. It also means that as a parent you can have full confidence in our ability to look after your children.
Our Staff are warm and caring, and understand the need to help children settle into a day camp environment. By reinforcing good behaviour and supporting children in their activities, our teachers are the key to the success of our camps.

We also employ trainee teachers and university students studying PE to act as "Assistant Coaches" to the main group of Staff. They are an invaluable resource, and are employed on the basis of their ability to work with kids. They are not responsible for running sessions and act purely as assistants to the teachers.
All of our Staff are fully CRB checked and the majority are first aid trained, and through their work in school receive the most current and up to date training in child protection and best practice.
In short, our Staff are highly skilled and thoroughly trained in teaching and caring for children.
